Christian Counseling in Washington
Faith-integrated therapy, at your pace
For many people, faith isn’t a side topic. It’s how you make sense of loss, love, conflict, and hope. If that’s true for you, it belongs in the room.
I offer Christian counseling for individuals and couples across Washington who want their faith to be part of therapy. You decide how much, and what that looks like.
What it can look like
Talking openly about God, doubt, and how your faith shapes what you’re facing
Drawing on scripture or prayer, if and when you ask for it
Working through grief when a loss has shaken what you believed
Helping couples build on shared values, or navigate different ones
What it isn’t
Christian counseling here isn’t preaching, and it doesn’t replace your pastor or church community. It’s licensed therapy, grounded in the same evidence-based approaches I use with every client: the Gottman Method for couples, and Solution-Focused and CBT approaches for individuals. Your faith is a resource we can draw on, never a script I hand you.
Faith and grief
Loss can deepen faith, or crack it open. Both are normal. Whether you’re leaning on your beliefs or questioning them for the first time, you’ll have space to be honest about where you are.
Faith and couples
Shared faith can be a strength in a marriage. It can also become a source of conflict, especially when partners believe or practice differently. We’ll work on both the patterns between you and the values underneath them.
Everyone is welcome here
Christian counseling is one option I offer, not a requirement. If faith isn’t part of your life, it won’t be part of your therapy.
Some clients come with deep faith, some with a different faith, some with questions, and some with no faith at all. All of it is welcome here, and none of it is required. I work with LGBTQ clients and people of every background. Therapy here is about your goals, not mine.
Getting started
Sessions are online, available anywhere in Washington. Fees and insurance options are the same as for all my services; see my FAQs. I offer a free 15-minute consultation, so you can ask questions and see if we’re a good fit.
