Individual therapy in Washington & Oregon · Online counseling for adults

Sometimes you just know something needs to change.

Even if you can’t quite name what it is yet. Whether you’re carrying anxiety, moving through a hard season, or feeling stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break, individual therapy gives you space to figure it out.

I offer online individual therapy for adults anywhere in Washington or Oregon.

What people come in for

  • Anxiety, stress, and feeling overwhelmed
  • Depression, low mood, or feeling stuck
  • Life transitions, like a career change, retirement, an empty nest, or becoming a parent
  • Family-of-origin patterns and setting boundaries
  • Working on a relationship when your partner isn’t ready for therapy
  • Grief and loss
Practical and forward-focused

How I work

I draw from Structural, Solution-Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) approaches. That means we’ll look at what’s been shaping your experience, including the relationships and patterns around you, while keeping our eyes on where you want to go.

Together we’ll notice the thoughts and habits that keep you stuck, try practical changes between sessions, and check in regularly on what’s working. No dwelling in problems for the sake of it. We’re building toward something.

When it’s really about a relationship

Sometimes what brings you in is a marriage or a family relationship. Individual work can help on its own, and if your partner is open to it, couples therapy may be a better fit. We can sort that out together.

Faith, if you want it

If faith is part of your life, it can be part of our work, as much or as little as you choose. Learn more about Christian counseling. If faith isn’t part of your life, it won’t be part of your therapy.

Getting started

You don’t have to have it all figured out before you reach out. That’s what the first conversation is for.

Sessions are online for adults 18 and older, available anywhere in Washington or Oregon. Individual sessions (50 minutes) are $175, private pay, with a sliding fee scale available case by case. See my FAQs for insurance and reimbursement details. If you pay privately, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. I offer a free 15-minute consultation, so you can ask questions and see if we’re a good fit.
